A product family emerged fulfilling the highest quality standards based on aerodyn's almost 30 years of experience in the field of wind turbine development. The optimized drive train concept enables the aeroMaster to operate reliably even under adverse environmental conditions such as cold climate or hot climate. The two generator systems to choose from (doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) and permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) let the licensee match the aeroMaster optimally to local requirements. Economic efficiency, reliability, maintainability and the possibility of global component purchasing were key features which influenced the choice of concept.
